The blade on this knife is made from s-35vn stainless steel etched black with a rockwell hardness of 60. Actual cutting edge is 3..5 inches with an open length of 8.25 inches. The liners are blasted titanium and the lock face has been carbidized. Lock-up is solid and the blade sits centered when closed. The razor sharp blade rides on Phosphor Bronze washers and features a sweeping hollow grind. The backspacer is jeweled copper to match the copper collars behind the Gear head stainless pivot screws.
