A handmade Japanese inspired chef knife in AEB-L stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 61. The handle is stabilized, Spalted Tamarind dyed green with a G-10 black bolster. Blade length is 7 1/4 inches long with an overall length of 12 1/2 inches and measures .100 at the spine. AEB-L stainless makes for an excellent knife in a kitchen environment thanks to its corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance.
