With a blade length of 3 1/4 inches, I designed this knife around small game processing but would work quite well for skinning deer as well as light use around camp such as food prep, cutting rope etc.. The blade is made from 80crv2 with a stonewashed etched finish and measures 1/8 inch at the spine and tapers down to a very fine edge perfect for slicing through tough skin. The handle is made of Curly Maple and is mechanically fastened and epoxied making the scales not removable but the 8-32 screws can be replaced if desired. The handmade sheath is veg tan leather dyed brown and is designed to be worn vertically or cross draw which is more comfortable when sitting and features and added leather lace to keep the knife more secure.
