Handmade Ladder Pattern Damascus western style Chef Knife. The blade length measures 9 inches with an overall length of 13.5 inches. The spine at the handle of the blade is 1/8 inch and tapers all the way down to the tip for lightweight fast action that is perfect for chopping and slicing all day in the kitchen. The balance is just forward of the handle which is made of Spalted Mango from Hawaii with carbon fiber pins. The blade was made from 1084 and 15n20 and forged into a ladder pattern. The blade tapers down to an almost zero bevel razor sharp edge with a rockwell hardness of 60. The sheath is made of leather, bound with rivets for safe storage.
