This hand forged bushcraft knife has an 11 inch long blade made for chopping and heavy outdoor use. With an overall length of 17 inches this is a large knife made for heavy tasks around camp or even making camp. The blade curvature allows for great drawknife use, chopping kindling and taking down small trees and branches. The blade was forged from 52100 steel and holds a razor sharp edge even after chopping a 2x4 in half. (Blade was tested prior to final finishing on a 2x4). The handle is desert ironwood with brass pins and lanyard tube hole. The handmade sheath is veg-tan leather died chocolate with a swivel ring on the belt loop for easy carrying when walking through thick brush and sealed with a water resistant finish.
